Plano Senior High School was established in 1891 and is a two-time National Blue Ribbon School, a Texas Exemplary School, and was named by The Washington Post as one of "America's Most Challenging High Schools" in 2015. Plano Senior High had a total enrollment of 2,766 in 2017 and has a long history of academic excellence and innovative programs that meet the needs of its highly diverse community. Plano Senior High includes only juniors and seniors and offers a full range of courses in all academic areas including honors and Advanced Placement.
