Ladies,
Being a part of Planoettes was the best time of my high
school career! I graduated in 2006 and haven't looked
back, except for reflecting on my Planoette memories. The
one time I always miss is walking on to the field and
lining up on the sideline waiting to march onto the field
and seeing all of those maroon paws going crazy. It is
such an adrenaline rush! Between summer camp, football
season, basketball season, and spring show, you will
always be busy. But take it from me, it was so worth it!
You'll gain so many friends (I still talk to many
Planoettes from when I graduated, one of which has become
a sister to me), and learn so many life lessons. I know it
seems that it's just another drill team, but you'll learn
how to work as a team, respect, trust, and so many other
things that you'll just have to take my word for it. The
only thing I can compare it to at a college level is a
sorority. Just remember: Smile, have fun, and
P-L-A-N-O-T-T-E-S!
Sincerely,
Delta

So, I know I'm barely an alumni, but I just
wanted to say some stuff I couldn't fit in my senior
presentation. Seniors: Here it is! We're done! Yet somehow,
that statement isn't as rewarding as we all thought it would
be. We're all going to be in different schools and different
states, but we’ll always have Planoettes to bring us back
together. Good luck in whatever you choose to do with your
lives. Current/future Planoettes: I hope you all love drill
team. You don’t have to love sweating on the blacktop,
bruises, or staying at practice until all hours of the
night. You don’t have to love that stuff, I just hope you
LOVE Planoettes because as soon as the curtain closes on
your last night of show, you're immediately going to miss
it. Carry on all the traditions, but be sure to forge your
own as well.
Once a Planoette, Always a Planoette

Lieutenant Captain

Hi,
my name is Christine Fego Martin. I was a member of the
Planoettes from 99-01, and was Lieutenant Captain. I went to
school out in NC, married my high school sweetheart, had a
baby and we are FINALLY coming back to
Texas
in spring of 09. I am so excited and thrilled to move back
home and raise our baby girl. I hope one day drill team can
be an amazing part of her life as it was for me. When
I do move back, I am ready and willing to help and support
the Planoettes. Please put me on the list serve and
let me know if there is anything I can do.
Much
love and Plano Pride,
Christine (Fego) Martin

Hey
Planoettes! I hope you are making the most of your
short time as a member of this team. You’ll be in
college and beyond before you know it! I have enjoyed
looking at photos from this site to see that traditions are
kept alive. Traditions are such a big part of the
drill team experience. Smile big, kick high, split
low, take hundreds of pictures to remember it by, and as
always, Bust Out! |

Hey Planoettes! I stumbled across the website and love
seeing that so many things stay the same! Keep up the
traditions and cherish the memories you are making. Believe
it or not, you will one day miss going to practice and
staying up until midnight choreographing routines. Have a
fabulous Spring Show!
