Planoette Director's Corner
Planoette Supporters,
The Planoettes have been hard at work preparing weekly routines for our
Wildcat football games and pep rallies throughout the semester. They have
put on a number of great performances including pom, streamer jazz, kick,
prop, and the Plano Production number with the unveiling of the Plano
PAWS!!! If you missed it, it was quite a treat. We are excited that the
girls will be able to perform their traditional homecoming ladder routine
this Saturday! Due to rain and concern for the safety of our girls, they
were unable to perform it on Homecoming night!
Throughout the fall we had tremendous success at our 3rd annual Golf
Tournament and our parents didn't stop there! They then went on to sell
and make over 400 mums and garters for our Plano students! We are so very
blessed with the outpour of support from our area retailers and parents in
PISD. Our fundraising allows our girls to compete at the regional and
national level as well as put on our annual Spring Show in April. The
girls enjoy choreographing routines for those as well as learning from
some of the best choreographers in the state. Costumes and Props are also
possible because of the monies raised. If you want to be awed come to our
spring show debuting April 7th in the Dr. Doyle Dean Performing Arts
Center.
We hope that we will see you all this Saturday at the play-off game
against Coppell as the Wildcats move on to the 5A playoffs. You will be
sure to be wowed by the Halftime put on by your Planoettes and the AWESOME
Wildcat Marching Band!
Planoette love,
Mrs. Walraven
